Northern Virginia Chapter (NVC)
Like the National Organization and State Affiliates, each Chapter has a Board of Directors with a President and other elected officials who serve a one or two year term of office.
Note that each Chapter’s page also includes a description of its own current Continuing Professional Education (CPE) offerings. These sessions, programs and educational opportunities are open to the public as well as to members.

A dinner meeting, with one hour of CPE, is generally held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Monthly meetings are held at the Marco Polo Restaurant, 245 Maple Avenue W., Vienna, Va. Daytime seminars (3-4 hr. CPE; free to chapter members) are held in May and September. In addition, the chapter sponsors a Tri-State Seminar on the third Saturday of January. The Tri-State Seminar includes presentations by tax administrators from Virginia, Maryland, and DC on changes to their tax laws, as well as problem sets showing how these laws translate to tax returns.
